A candidate for admission to St. Augustine Catholic High School must meet three criteria for consideration.
St. Augustine is a Catholic school. We do not require that students are practicing Catholics, but we do require all students to live and uphold certain core values: good behavior, integrity, and charity toward others.
St. Augustine is a college preparatory high school. Students must be capable of learning and mastering the basic content and concepts necessary for success in college. We look for good grades in most subjects, indications of improving academic performance, or other indicators of academic potential.
Once again, St. Augustine is a college preparatory high school. That preparation requires self-discipline and hard work. You may not have a good work ethic when you apply, but you must show a willingness to develop one during your time at St. Augustine.
Registration is automatic upon submission of your completed application. If you are unable to attend a scheduled test date or have other questions about the testing, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (520) 751-8300.
Please notify the Admissions Department if you took a high-school placement test at another high school. We will contact the school to ask for your test results. If we receive the results from the other school, you will not have to take the St. Augustine placement test.
Applications submitted on or before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, will automatically register the student for the test on Saturday, December 5, 2015.
Applications submitted after December 2, 2015 and on or before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, will automatically register the student for the test on Saturday, February 6, 2015.
