Family Orientation

Thursday, April 26

6:00p – 8:00 p.m.

Begin in the Chapel and end in the gym

No registration or RSVP is necessary.

Everyone gets a little anxious when they start at a new school, even parents.  Knowing where you’re going and what you’re doing reduces that anxiety.

If your family is new to St. Augustine, you should attend this event.  You’ll learn a little more of the day-to-day knowledge that will help you feel more comfortable, like...

  • Basic Procedures and Information

  • Campus Ministry and Student Service Hours

  • Extracurricular Activities

  • Financial Aid and Payments

  • iPads and Textbooks

  • Parent Service Hours and Volunteering

  • Parent-to-Parent organization

  • RenWeb

  • Sports

  • Uniforms

Doors open at 5:45 p.m. for check-in.

Who Should Attend

We strongly recommend that the student and one or both parents attend the Orientation.

Younger Siblings

Younger siblings are welcome, although we may ask to let them play in the courtyard so they don’t distract you.

What to Bring

You do not need to bring anything with you.

Dress Code

This is strictly casual.  Wear anything that would be appropriate to wear to an event at a Catholic school.

St. Augustine Catholic High School

8800 East 22nd Street

Directions to the School

St. Augustine Catholic High School is located at the corner of 22nd Street and Camino Seco.  Unfortunately, 22nd Street has two intersections with Camino Seco that are about 500 feet apart.  Our school's entrance runs south from the eastern intersection.  JTED is on the northeast corner of our intersection.

Directions to the Chapel

Follow the winding driveway through the desert. It will bring you to a circle in front of the O'Rielly Administration Building (the one with the dome).  Bear right as you enter the circle and turn left to pass in front of the dome. The Chapel is on the east end of the O'Rielly Administration Building.

There are two parking lots nearest the Chapel.

There is a gravel lot north and east of the chapel.  If you continue on the driveway past the O'Rielly Administration (and the Chapel), the lot will be on your left.

There is another parking lot south of the tennis courts and east of the main campus buildings.  If you continue on the driveway past the gravel lot, you will come to a T intersection. Turn right then make your first right into the parking lot.
