Saint Augustine Catholic High School has been making headlines! And there is even more exciting news.
This academic year has been marked with many improvements to the school: lockers during the summer, a new computer lab, Promethian Boards in every classroom, a backup server to ensure the safety of all data, a new school sign on 22nd Street, the groundbreaking of the gym/wellness center, and the revised website (www.staugustinehigh.com). Needless to say, it has been a year of great accomplishments for the school.
You may have heard, read, or seen in the past two weeks throughout the Tucson media that SACHS received a very generous donation from an anonymous benefactor. This individual, who is not Catholic, believes so strongly in all aspects of our program that he has made a huge investment in our students and our school. He believes in a quality values based education that trains young people to aspire to leadership and that this education should be available to all those who desire it.
Because of this generous gift, and because it is part of the mission of the Church to educate all those who desire to know Christ, the SACHS Board of Directors and Administration are announcing a new family commitment rate (tuition) of $4,995.00 for the 2009-2010 school year. This is a 25% reduction from the current tuition of $6,600.00. This reduction comes at a time when our national and local economic conditions are very weak. The educational environment in Arizona is such that a quality Catholic education is the most important gift we can bestow upon our children!
For those families who may not have considered a Catholic high school education due to the rising costs, this is the opportunity you have been seeking. We are very excited about our ability to open our doors to more families who desire a Catholic high school experience. Applications are available on the school website for download and can also be picked up at the school. SACHS will host two short open houses on Sunday, May 17 at 1pm and Wednesday, May 20 at 7pm – both in the school’s cafeteria. - Family Commitment includes an activity fee.
- Family Commitment is reflective of what the family pays. The actual per pupil cost to educate a student at SACHS is between 11-12,000 dollars.
Registration/Re-enrollment: $200.00
Due when application is accepted.
Senior Graduation Fee: $350.00
Payment Options
There are several payment options available for your convenience.
Option One: pay balance in full by July 1, 2009.
Option Two: pay in 10 monthly tuition payments through automatic withdrawals from your account through FACTS Tuition Management Service or 10 monthly credit card charges.
If your student withdraws during the school year, tuition will be pro-rated on a semester basis. If student attends class for any length of time and withdraws for any reason, other than a family relocation, you will be responsible for the entire semester tuition. This balance will be due at the time of withdrawal unless other payment arrangement have been made.

Uniforms ( shirts): $200.00
