The Saint Augustine Dance team was founded in Spring 2010 as a group that brings spirit during the halftime of the basketball games, but the team has also performed in other venues around SACHS. The team is always willing to incorporate various styles of dance depending on the occasion, but typically jazz and hip-hop are used in the routines. This spirited group of students is always moving to the music in order to pump up an audience. This is also a great opportunity to for students to take leadership roles when working with his or her peers since we are always looking for new choreography. Throughout the history of the team, students have been invited to choreograph small sections of a dance or contribute moves into the dance routines, and students are always welcome to choreograph entire pieces.

The team is always looking for new, enthusiastic members, and no previous dance experience is required, but come prepared for a good time!
