National Honor Society


National Honor Society is an honorary academic organization.  Students who are invited to belong excel in their grades, service to the school and community, and demonstrate leadership and character.  Members collaborate to develop and carry out service projects for the school and community.


Selection process

Students are eligible for membership in NHS as second semester sophomores or juniors.  Those students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher are invited to complete an information packet describing their service, leadership, and character.  Completed information packets are reviewed by a Faculty Council and those students who demonstrate outstanding service, leadership, and character are invited to become members.
