Venturing Crew

Venturing at  St. Augustine Catholic High School is a high adventure scouting program that offers many opportunities in leadership, service, fitness, citizenship, outdoor, and social activities. Additionally, our program supports the philosophy and values of our chartering organization. Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are 14 (or 13 and have completed the eighth grade) through 20 years of age.

In Venturing, young adults participate in a range of outdoor activities and also social events, like going to the movies, paintball, Christmas parties and much more.

Recycling is a weekly fundraiser for Venture Crew. We collect recyclables every Friday morning in front of the school gym; parents receive one service hour for every trash bag of recyclables.

Works of Mercy projects, which are needed as a grade for theology every year, are also something Venturing can provide.  Large scale projects like the construction of the stations of the cross and the modification to the pathway to St. Francis de Sales not only help with the your Works of Mercy hours but also to leave a lasting legacy to the school..
